brainfruit’s constituent humans are Rob Dubbin and Garrett Miller.
rob who?
Rob Dubbin (he/they) works with television, games, puzzles, bots, tooling, and procedural generation, ideally several of those at once. Co-creator of the Scripto collaborative platform, Rob also co-hosts the Secret Lives of Games design podcast, and has written for both Stephen Colbert and Carmen Sandiego.
Rob’s eclectic game catalog includes the XYZZY-winning text adventure Earl Grey and the honorably IGF-mentioned retro satire International Jetpack Conference. But they’re probably most proud of Tide Breakers, which you can play on this very website.
hey it's garrett
Garrett Miller (he/him) has spent the past three decades creating art, games, software, and websites with computers. He has been an engineer, product, and design leader through the unicorn eras of Opower, Mapbox, Slack, and Figma.
Garrett has created several notable collaborative art projects like The Envelope Collective, which engaged artists from over 30 countries, and Doodle or Die, a viral online drawing game with over 3 million players.
